Bob Barr gets another hour with Glenn Beck. He demonstrates his moderate libertarianism here. Hopefully he wins over some viewers who were/are on the fence about voting third party. Many topics are discussed. The video below is in 6 parts thanks to YouTube 10 minute limits and commercials on the show.
Ron Paul appeared for about 3 minutes this morning on CNN’s “American Morning”. He spoke the hard truth about the interventionist foreign policies of both McCain and Barack Obama. Many people seem to believe that Obama is the “peace” candidate. I saw a bumper sticker with the ‘O’ in Obama represented as a peace sign. What a ridiculous lie that is. Ron Paul sets the story straight. He also points out the truth about the Russia-Georgian conflict saying that we did in Kosovo exactly what Russia is doing in South Ossetia.
Yet again Ron Paul demonstrates why he should have been the GOP nominee. He is the real change candidate. Watch the video below.
Yesterday the FOX 5 affiliate in Atlanta covered Bob Barr’s recent good polling numbers in a handful of states. The ultimate question in the story is “has Barr’s campaign already reached its high water mark?” For the sake of the liberty message I certainly hope not.
Bob Barr appeared for an interview on CNN “American Morning” this morning discussing Hillary Clinton’s speech at the Democratic Convention and his own campaign on the issues.
This is just a quick reminder that Bob Barr will appear for the second time on The Colbert Report this evening at 11:30pm EST. Tune in to witness Barr’s sudden comedic talents or lack thereof. Yet more great exposure for the best choice in November.
According to the Barr campaign, Barr is going to be showing up on various main stream media outlets this week. Tuesday night he appears on The Colbert Report for the second time. He will be on CNN on Wednesday and Friday mornings. He is also taping his second full hour with Glenn Beck on Thursday, likely to be aired Friday evening (as that is when Beck usually airs his full hour TV interviews).
Barr has also shown some continued traction in the Zogby state by state polling as well. Hopefully these new media appearances will continue to help him reach new heights in polling (15%) allowing him to get into the debates. Sure it is unlikely, but anything can happen in politics. I will remain realistic yet hopeful.
Penn Jillette (everyone’s favorite magician/comedian/juggler libertarian) appeared on Glenn Beck’s TV show last night. Beck discussed his lack of satisfaction with “either” of the choices for President. Jillette quickly corrected him regarding his incorrect assumption and mentioned Bob Barr and Ron Paul.
Beck then agreed with Jillette and said that he will “probably vote” for Barr. He went on to say that he wants to send someone to cover Ron Paul’s Rally For The Republic in Minneapolis and wants to hear what the speakers at the event have to say except for one thing: about 10% of Ron Paul supporters “scare the living bejeezus” out of him.
Penn Jillette replies with logic as he so often does arguing that 10% is not too bad. He argues that you are always going to have “nuts” in a group and some of those “nuts” may think Beck is nuts.
Ron Paul, following his interview on Glenn Beck’s radio show the other day, appeared on Beck’s TV show tonight. Many similar topics were covered, but it is so refreshing to see Ron Paul being treated with respect in the main stream media. While I think his interview on the radio was better, this TV interview was fantastic as well. When Ron Paul speaks about economics, inflation, the value of the dollar, and sweet liberty people should listen. Watch it below in 2 parts.
A report on Bob Barr and the Libertarian Party on HDNet aired this evening. It is a very accurate and fair portrayal of Barr. They cover the campaign, Barr’s rebirth as a Libertarian, etc.. Ron Paul even makes an appearance. Good stuff. The report lasts over 11 minutes so it is split in to two parts.
Ron Paul was interviewed recently on KET in Kentucky on a program called “One To One”. He discusses his current campaign, his past campaign, his book, his previous media appearances, Austrian economics, the rally being planned to coincide with the GOP Convention, and much much more. This is a must see interview for every Ron Paul supporter. It is in 3 parts.
