This is an excellent interview with Ron Paul on NPR Radio’s “Talk Of The Nation” show. Ron Paul even used a little humor which is somewhat unlike his normal “serious talk” on the campaign trail

Ron Paul Interviewed on KDKA Again 04/03/2008 [Audio]

April 3rd, 2008 7:31 am  |  by  |  Published in History, Philosophy, Politics, Radio, Ron Paul  |  0

Ron Paul was on KDKA Pittsburgh again this morning following his longer and more in depth interview last night. The morning news program promoted his appearance by including him in their news reports at the top of each hour leading up to this interview.

The interview was short (about 7 minutes) and very general. The most interesting portion was when Ron Paul spoke of remembering the area where he grew up near Pittsburgh. This was great exposure during morning drive time.

Deconstructing The Imperfect World Of Ron Paul

Judging by some of the heroic worshiping rhetoric found here and other pro-Paul areas of the media world one would get the impression that Ron Paul is perfection personified. Unfortunately he has flaws. Most are of the perfectly imperfect variety. Indeed, flaws are a matter of perception.

In an interview on a Pittsburgh radio station last night the host implied that being honest with the American people is a doomed campaign strategy. I’m not sure if there is a sadder hard truth than that. It is almost as if many Americans beg to be manipulated by our politicians. It is the public discourse equivalent of a wife asking her husband, “Does this dress make me look fat?”. Meanwhile the wife is five foot four and weighs 210 pounds. If Ron Paul were to answer he’d say, “No, your large body makes you look fat. Your clothes are totally irrelevant.” It’s hard to win an election with honesty like that.

Ron Paul was interviewed for almost 30 minutes on KDKA Pittsburgh tonight. Many topics were covered: fiscal policy, foreign policy, taxes, staying in the race, global warming, and more. Very good interview. Following the interview the host (John Steigerwald) said “He makes a lot of sense.” Of course he does.

Vern Mckinley interviewed on Ron Paul Revolution Radio 03/11/2008 [Audio]

March 11th, 2008 8:27 pm  |  by  |  Published in Big Government, Election, Foreign Policy, History, John McCain, Liberty, Philosophy, Politics, Radio, Ron Paul, Ron Paul Republicans  |  0

Vern Mckinley, candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 10th district was interviewed by Kurt Wallace on the “Wake Up America” show on Ron Paul Revolution radio this morning for almost an hour. Mckinley is running in my own district against the longtime incumbent Republican Frank Wolf. Wolf has a voting record more in line with big spending Democrats than fiscally conservative Republicans. Mckinley promises a return to the limited government principles of Ronald Reagan. This is a good interview and worth the time, especially if you live in Virginia’s 10th district.

Liberty Maven is also in the process of interviewing Mckinley. That interview can be viewed here.
