The latest installment of Judge Andrew Napolitano’s simply awesome online show “Freedom Watch” aired today. His guests included Glenn Beck, Shepard Smith, Ron Paul, Peter Schiff, Lew Rockwell, and David Boaz (CATO).
Glenn Beck kicked off the show via phone and discussed the AIG nonsense. The Judge had a few choice words for Andrew Cuomo and his “influencial” tactics.
Ron Paul came on with about 10 minutes left in the show. The Judge asked him about his and others tough questioning of Geithner and Bernanke yesterday. Schiff asked the same question I had for Paul yesterday about asking a question right away to allow for follow up questions rather than using up the time pontificating and asking a question at the end.
Judge Napolitano’s liberty-full Freedom Watch show tomorrow will have the following guests and topics, as reported at FreedomWatchOnFox.com:
2:00-2:10 Glenn Beck and Shepard Smith start the show.
2:10 – 2:30 Peter Schiff (in studio) with Lew Rockwell (phone) including a special 10 minute segment from Schiff entitled “Protecting Your Assets, what you need to know about your money and investments.”
2:30 – 3:00 Ron Paul (from DC), Peter Schiff, and David Boaz (live from CATO)
Possibly other last minute guests as well.
The topics for the week will be: U.S. power to seize firms, possible 15 year depression, discussion of Austrian School of Economics, preview of Campaign for Liberty, St. Louis conference and much, much more.
Judge Andrew Napolitano is one if the few publicly vociferous voices in the wilderness, crying out for the masses to pay attention to how the Federal Government is overstepping its bounds with regards to the document that created it: the U.S. Constitution.
Napolitano is host to one of the hottest new shows on the ‘net, FreedomWatch, which airs every Wednesday at 2pm, and features notable guests such as Ron Paul, Peter Schiff, Lew Rockwell, Rand Paul, John Lott, Andrew Levy, Cody Willard, Mark Skousen, and more. The archives are always available at FreedomWatchOnFOX.com.
In a recent article by the Judge, entitled Can Congress Write Any Laws It Wants?, he discusses government’s propensity to violate natural law and violate its Constitutional boundaries. He sums it up nicely:
Is freedom a reality or a myth? Are the rights guaranteed in the Constitution real or just a pretense? Isn’t the whole purpose of government in a free society to uphold rights rather than interfere with them? If the answers to these questions are no longer obvious, it is because we have a central government whose only self-acknowledged limitation is whatever it can get away with.
The situation has slowly gotten out of hand, beginning with the days of Alexander Hamilton, and ramping up more quickly since 9/11/2001.
Read what Judge Napolitano has to say:
“Some men think the Earth is round, others think it flat… But, if it is flat, will the King’s command make it round? And if it is round, will the King’s command flatten it? … NO.”
When Robert Bolt wrote that truism in his play A Man For All Seasons, his protagonist, Thomas More, was attempting to persuade the jury at his trial for high treason that all governments have limitations, and that the statute he was accused of violating was beyond Parliament’s lawful authority to enact. Sir Thomas was there appealing to the natural law as well as to the common sense of his jurors: The government can’t change the laws of nature. As we know, he fared no better than those who today argue that Congress is not omnipotent, has natural, moral, and constitutional limitations on its power, and every day fails to abide them. Judge Napolitano’s show today was another great one. His guests included Alex Jones, Ron Paul, Peter Schiff, Lew Rockwell, Cody Willard, and Mark Skousen.
The show opened with Alex Jones cross-broadcasting the show on his own radio show for the first 10 minutes. The Judge then ranted for about 4 minutes regarding the Constitution and applying it to contract law (posted earlier).
Then Lew Rockwell enters the discussion about AIG and their bonuses. They bring in Peter Schiff and Dr. Ron Paul for the final 30 minutes.
I found the discussion very interesting because they all did not agree about whether or not the AIG bonuses should be returned and/or taxed.
I really hope the show is eventually added to the FOX News TV lineup.

Today on Freedom Watch Judge Andrew Napolitano delivered an exquisite rant on natural law and freedom of contract in the Constitution.
He rips the Obama administration for trampling on the Constitution. It is a must see. Watch it below. Video for the entire show will be posted a bit later once it is posted at FreedomWatchOnFox.com.
Yesterday Glenn Beck put together one of his better monologues complete with a rotund Barney Frank white board drawing. He had Judge Andrew Napolitano sitting by for backup.
Beck explains why Obama and Democrats (like Frank) are using the art of political misdirection to push us away from the real problems we are facing. He does it in an entertaining and informative way.
Beck shows the history of AIG, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the connections they have to the housing bubble assisted by the very members of Congress that today are crying foul.
I found myself earlier today yelling at my car radio that Obama and the Feds have no right to tell AIG to return their bonuses or tax them especially high. First of all, it’s unconsitutional (as the Judge points out). Secondly, where does the interference end? Apparently, once the bailout/nationalization door is pushed open it stays open. The government is the gift that keeps on giving. Unfortunately, the gifts that are being given are owned by us, not the government. There is another word for that: theft.
Watch Beck at his best below. It is in two parts (the embedded playlist should play both for you).
Also, there may be one more surprise guest added to the lineup at the last minute.
It sounds like another great show with some new blood (so to speak). Please spread the word and tune in to the show tomorrow at 2pm if you can. The more people that watch the show online the better chance it has of making into the normal Fox TV lineup. You can watch the show here: http://foxnews.com/strategyroom (Foxnews.com Strategy Room online channel).

On the site you will find all the show archive videos (and audio for the first show), a link to the live show, links to guests’ sites, and upcoming guest announcements.
Regular guests to the show include Ron Paul, Peter Schiff, Lew Rockwell, Cody Willard, and Tracy Byrnes.
This week’s episode of Freedom Watch with Judge Andrew Napolitano is in the bag. This week Ron Paul, Lew Rockwell, Peter Schiff, Campaign For Liberty President John Tate, Tracy Byrnes (from FBN), and John Stossel joined the Judge for more discussion on liberty.
They discussed Obama’s plan for education, the endless bailouts, and more. John Stossel joined the show during the final minutes via telephone and discussed his upcoming special on 20/20 Friday night at 10pm EST called “Bailouts, Big Spending, and Bull.”
Ron Paul was on for the first 15 minutes or so. John Tate joined during the last half hour. Please spread the playlist below around the net. And be sure to join the Facebook “Fans of Freedom Watch” group if you haven’t already.
Watch what many are calling the liberty power hour below. All 6 parts should play in succession via the playlist here.
Judge Napolitano continues his liberty power hour, Freedom Watch, tomorrow afternoon at 2pm EST. This week he welcomes one of the main stream media’s best free market libertarians John Stossel. No doubt they will discuss Stossel’s upcoming special on 20/20 Friday night called “Bailouts, Big Spending, and Bull”, among other topics.
The Judge also brings back Ron Paul, Lew Rockwell, Peter Schiff, and Tracy Byrnes (from Fox Business Channel). Also joining the crew will be Campaign For Liberty President John Tate.
