Jack Conway likes to kill puppies and use their bones to pick his teeth!

Ok, not really, but the more I see the Left and the media jump on every little thing Rand Paul says, the more I wonder, do they really think this stuff works?

Also, just to be clear, I do not believe Jack Conway likes to kill puppies and use their bones to pick his teeth.

Today, once again the media and the Left is trying to create controversy where there is none. Rand Paul, like his father, and many people in the United States believe we should repeal birthright citizenship. Yes, that is the big story today that is making the granola less crunchy for progressives.

I’m curious if this will stop once they realize it is not hurting Rand Paul’s effort to be Kentucky’s next U.S. Senator? In fact, it could be helping him as more and more people realize this is just more partisan subterfuge. The Left is doing its very best to unite through irritation. It is certainly conceivable that normally divided libertarians, independents, Republicans, and conservatives see a common enemy when these attacks persist. Even Mark Levin, who is no friend of the Pauls, has come to Rand Paul’s defense.

Allow me to repeat, Jack Conway probably doesn’t really like to kill babies and use their bones to pick his teeth, but he certainly has some policies that should, at the very least, strike fear into the hearts of Americans.

Are you sure Jack Conway doesn't like to kill puppies and use their bones to pick his teeth? This article is very light in evidence that he doesn't…

I'm reminded of an old LBJ story. He was running in Texas, and instructed his campaign manager to spread the rumor that his opponent had carnal knowledge of the family sow. "Jesus, Lyndon! You know he doesn't do that!".

"I know", Johnson replied, "but let's make the sonuvabitch deny it!".

Democrats haven't changed much since… Of course, there's also Nixon calling his (female) opponent "a known thespian".

jack conway is gonna get tough on drugs…tough on illegal immigrants. it says all of this in his tv adverts. if anything it'll call out conway and see where he stands on illegal immigrants. i doubt that was rand's motivations…but as they say, each good turn deserves another. so mr. statism conway, where do you stand on illegal immigrants?

Thanks Tracy… actually the links in the article link there already (2 of 'em do). There's nothing better than using Conway's actual positions against him, especially when he and his minions are determined to stretch the truth about Rand Paul's positions.

I think this is a concentrated attack on the Tea Party movement through Rand. I think that their reasoning is that if they can topple him and smear him, the Tea Party will by extension be discredited, embarrassed, and be dealt a severe blow. I don't think its an accident that Rachel Maddow wanted Rand on the show right after his win. He announced his candidacy on her show and it was a very civil interview. When he emerged as the leader of the Tea Party movement, it was embarrassing to Maddow who hates the Tea Party and calls them "tea baggers" every chance she gets. The last thing she wants is Tea Party legitimacy, especially when it is provided by the candidate who announced on her show. She needed to destroy him in that interview in order to gain her liberal cred back. My guess is that Rand isn't the only one who never wants him to be on that show again.
