The Teaparty movement has many of its origins stemming from Ron Paul's revolution effort, but as he notes, professional apparatchiks see a popular movement gaining momentum, and they want a piece of it, irrespective of ideological purity or the fundamental message driving the Teaparty. Then once they have aligned themselves, they begin the process of perverting it to their pet agendas. The Teaparty people need to both resist further infiltration, and to purge/cleanse themselves of these leeches. It is currently fundamentally a conservative movement that has much in common with libertarianism, about 80%, but if they could embrace the whole libertarian message they would have the power of being truly for the liberty they claim they demand. Make her earn her new found status. I don't think she would even consider it but he should make the offer during this type of interview and let the public weigh in on it.
