Ron Paul appeared on Fox Business and MSNBC today. Check out the excellent appearances below. For some reason I really enjoy Dr. Paul’s appearances with Rachel Maddow. He seems to rise above all the politics and just talks about what is right.

First on Fox Business:

Then, on Maddow:

Good for Maddow for covering this. She sees.

The Neocon Beck/Palin Tea Party is not the message that attracted me and others to Dr. Paul. Just the opposite! What the GOP stands for today is what Palin expressed in Nashville and "charm" aside… it is the Bush Doctrine 2.0.

Facts are… Beck tried to "kill" a message of Liberty in 2007 and then HE and Foxnews exploited disgruntled people in early 2009. These same people without the dis-information of Beck, would be 100% behind Dr. Paul's "young" message today and will be tomorrow.

Just like the democrat and republican parties, the tea party has been hijacked. I don't like Sarah Palin and if she is our only hope then god help us! Sarah ran with a rino, then she endorsed him again just a couple weeks ago. Ron Paul and Peter Schiff helped me rescue my 401k and I would love to see a Ron Paul, Peter Schiff ticket in 2012 but that won't happen, it makes too much sense and we can't have that now can we.

    Wow, he's good!

I mean, I'm biased by this point, but how many other 'politicians' could reel off those perinent facts and citations on the spot? (Fox interview.)

I think Rachael wanted to get RP to bash SPalin, and he doesn't work that way, and certainly wouldn't start with someone who is endorsing his son for Senate, even in a 'while there are things I disagree with him on' sort of way.

I like his appearances on her show too, though.

I think the way to get the Tea Party / Liberty movement back on track is for Ron Paul to challange Sarah Palin to a debate !! Make her earn her new found status. I don't think she would even consider it but he should make the offer during this type of interview and let the public weigh in on it.

The Tea Party movement is what it is. The same applies to the Liberty movement. When is Ben Stein going to debate Ron Paul?

It is amazing how clear these things are to me, and yet there is all this banter out there in the mainstream media.
The Teaparty movement has many of its origins stemming from Ron Paul's revolution effort, but as he notes, professional apparatchiks see a popular movement gaining momentum, and they want a piece of it, irrespective of ideological purity or the fundamental message driving the Teaparty. Then once they have aligned themselves, they begin the process of perverting it to their pet agendas.
The Teaparty people need to both resist further infiltration, and to purge/cleanse themselves of these leeches. It is currently fundamentally a conservative movement that has much in common with libertarianism, about 80%, but if they could embrace the whole libertarian message they would have the power of being truly for the liberty they claim they demand.
