House passes HR1207 – Ron Paul voted against it

Ron Paul’s HR1207 is one step closer to becoming law.  The bill was attached to a horrible financial “reform” bill which calls for the creation of yet another government agency to regulate private industry.  So of course Ron Paul voted against it on principle, despite the fact that it contains the “Audit the Fed” bill he’s worked so hard for.

It must be really frustrating for Dr. Paul. However I have been anxious to see H.R. 1207 put into law. Although it is attached to a monster, at least the original language is back.

He voted against HR4173 which unfortunately HR 1207 was an amendment to the bill. The full audit of the Fed was passed. Let's get moving on it. Dr. Paul will stand up and vote for what's right: HR1207 and what's wrong: HR4173

Dr. Paul is one of the only heroes left in this country; I would definitely include Judge Napolitano as a freedom fighter too!

Judge Napolitano should be commended, but unlike Ron Paul he's often ill informed and shoots from the hip. Ron Paul is a truly unique individual. We should all strive to be such a person. That is to say, one who always and I mean ALWAYS stands by HIS principles. Even if you disagree with him on issues, you could learn a lot from him about what being your own person really means, he personifies "doing something meaningful with your life and for all the rights reasons".

I can't imagine it was frustrating at all. A bad bill doesn't become a good bill because 5% of it is auditing the Federal Reserve.

how can they attach a bill on an irrelevant bill? RP requested it as a single act and thats how it should be treated as. total disrespect for an elected personality such as Dr Paul.

Of course they attached this to a horrible bill. There are so many ways to continue the fundamentally corrupt control of the government by the "Power Elite". When the 90% of the sheeple who either don't bother or are so easily manipulated by the sophisticated PR of the Power Elite, finally wake up and kick out of office the 98% of the "republicrats" who are owned lock stock and barrel by the companies who cleverly write these mammoth pieces of legislation, common sense will see that laws and regulations are simple, clear, concise and easily debated by honest representatives. Don't hold your breath. But keep pushing anyway.

I attented the Iowa Republican caucus last year. During which, each Presidential candidate had a representative speak on their behalf. While the rep was speaking for Dr. Paul, the speaking representative for another candidate (who shall remain nameless), yelled out from the bleachers, "He votes against his own bills!". Leaving aside how disrespectful the outburst was, I'm surprised that people don't understand that THIS IS WHY he votes against some of his own bills. Completely clueless.

And Team Obama and their underhanded tactics have the Audacity to Attack the Republican party during the State of the Union. The Democrats under Team Obama are using every possible slimy underhanded trick to bury important legislation that benefits the people and not the Evil Private Bankers. Obama is Satan's best friend.
