SNL finally gets it right on Obama

The opening clip of Saturday Night Live last night featured a rather thorough dressing down of Obama. I had to kept checking the channel to make sure it wasn’t the Glenn Beck show I was watching.

The clip is below. Obama gets hammered on bailouts, cash for clunkers, and “spending money to make money”. In this clip it is the Chinese that are getting it “good and hard” as H.L. Mencken once said regarding the common people within a democracy. I hope we see more of this from SNL.

Hilarious skit. If Obama critics used more humor instead of rancor, they'd make hima one-term president.

DanBronxNY – no it does not make it OK for Obama to follow in Bush's footsteps. MrUniteUs just wants to acknowledge who started the mess that Obama is continuing.

The Wall Street Bailout was another Bush initiative, and Bush had his own stimulus.

What will Obama's successor do? I am afraid to find out.

Thank the Bush administration and his Treasury Secretary Henry Paulsen.
Ask Paulsen why he made 40 trips to China. We owed China nothing when Clinton left office and 800 billion when Bush left office.

So…that makes it OK for Obama follow in Bush's footsteps then?

Definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over with the same result. Does this mean Obama is insane?

there is and old political anecdot. when hrushev was ousted in soviet union, he agreed to meet with his succesor, when they did, he was asked for advice on what to do when things get real messy. hrushev said nothing, but gave him 2 letters, numbered 1 & 2, so when time passed and things got real messy letter # 1 got opened, it says " blame everything on me", so he did and it worked just fine for little while, they things got even messier and letter #2 was opened, it says " sit down and write 2 letters. morale of the story, blaming everything on bush aint gonna help, actually it got old rather quick. and mr. obama is making a political descent very quickly. i kinda feel sorry for him. the scetch however was HILARIOS I laughed every second of it. way to go SNL
