Judge Napolitano on Sarah Palin: Lacks mental capacity, she’s a goofball

Judge Andrew Napolitano on his radio show this morning pulled no punches when discussing the viability of Sarah Palin as the next President of the United States. I couldn’t agree with his blunt assessment more. He said:

“I just don’t think she possesses the mental capacity to be the President of the United States. She’s a goofball!”

So everyone’s favorite host of Freedom Watch has weighed in on Sarah Palin. To me, she’s a completely divisive figure. People seem to either idolize her or loathe her. I don’t think she has much chance of being the next POTUS. In fact, I’d be surprised if she did better than Giuliani did in the GOP primaries of 2008.

For more about what lead up to the Judge’s “straight talk” listen to the audio:

I agree with the Judge and with Marc. I do believe Sarah is a 'true believer' in small government, but doesn't possess the mental 'fire power' needed to be President.

Although, let me say one thing about Sarah Palin. I believe she is a true believer in 'limited constitutional government', but is also a neo-con (not sure how convinced she is), and probably has never been fully exposed to what is really 'behind the curtain' in the Republican party and neo-conservative principles. I doubt she would fully support the corporatism that goes there. (I could be wrong)

If she could be exposed to libertarian principles, such as sound currency and non-intervention foreign policy and the reasons behind each these principles – she could possibly be won over and be a strong force for limited government and the liberty movement in general.

Then again, she may cause more harm than good to the liberty movement if given such knowledge… :)

    Cheers,
    Jason

She supports the continued occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan. She may change her mind but it would take more than 3 years for me to believe it. Let her run for US House or US Senate from Alaska, I don't imagine she could be worse than the current delegation.
I love the money and currency issue, secondary to ending costly occupations, but Palin has no issue that would lead me to spend 5 minutes talking her up when there are decent anti-occupation candidates all over the place: Kokesh/Rand Paul/Peter Schiff.

I don't think Palin is viable at all. IMO she disqualified herself when she quit her job as governor. I also think that she will be manipulated by NeoCons and imperialistic christians and do nothing to dismantel the warfare state..

    I don't want her and I'm a pro-life Christian!
