I became a Republican because of Ron Paul. Since my vote outside the partry doesn't count, I'm working to see that it counts inside the party since I also became a precinct committeeman. Because of my support of Ron Paul, it is less easy for John McCain and other Republicans to automatically get total support of the party. Ron Paul and other quality candidates like his son Rand Paul need precinct committeemen all over the country to show support. This will change the 2012 election cycle, maybe even the 2010 election cycle. Whatever your party become a precinct committeeman.
