Last night Ron Paul appeared on Larry King to discuss health care reform in a long segment. He appears as part of a panel that includeds Dr. Sanjay Gupta and Dr. Paul Song.

Paul’s first words in the segment sum it all up:

“I’d like to see a little more freedom.”

The clip is in two parts.

    * Gov't is regulating which is controlling – get 'em out of it
    * Any person who wants to start a charity where others can contribute & then those who don't have any insurance can go there and get it paid for – why do we need to extort ALL Americans

    * Tort reform to put a cap on these litigious lottery types
    * Allow larger high-risk pools nationwide which would lower rates
    * Make ALL medical cost transparent, just like our food is from one grocery store to the other

    All that's a start!

The other doctor actually tried to argue with RP about Liberty and was soundly rebuked, too funny. And the look of confusion and disgust at the reality on Gupta's face made it worth their idiotic banter.

I find it amazing that two doctors who seem relatively intelligent and articulate, could have a prime example of how the PRIVATE market has set up a system to give free health care to those who cannot afford it, with the founder giving them EXAMPLES of how getting the government out of it would make it work better, STILL won't admit that they are wrong. STILL use Medicare as a good example of government care when RP repeatedly said it was broke. STILL don't get it! Oh well, maybe they just didn't want to look stupid on natoinal TV. Swallow your pride guys, admit when you are wrong!
