Not satisfied with merely writing a letter to my Republican opponent concerning his plans to implement socialized medicine, Towne for Congress also issued a letter to flag@whitehouse.gov today.
Dear Sir or Madam,
A supporter alerted me to this post entitled “Facts Are Stubborn Things” at your website, whitehouse.gov. Therein it is stated:
“There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.”
As a U.S. House congressional candidate unaffiliated with any parties, I would like to welcome you to view my campaign’s platform on health care and you may debate or leave civil comments in the space below. You may notice how I have carefully noted facts throughout.
- Facts like Medicare’s $85 TRILLION in UNFUNDED liabilities as stated by the Dallas Federal Reserve.
- Facts like how Nixon’s HMO Act of 1973 introduced government-mandates into our health care system, driving cost higher and destroying the quality of care.
- Facts like how Obama’s health care plan is unconstitutional via the Tenth Amendment and is not an American “right.”
Although I have made my best efforts to only state the facts, perhaps you could elaborate or correct me if I have made any mistakes in the space provided for debate below the article. After all, as you referred to in your missive:

I happen to prefer these two quotes. The second comes from John Adam’s popular cousin, Samuel.
“You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first steal from somebody else. I must admit that I find your call for citizens to report on other citizens to be quite troubling and reminiscent of 1950s-1970s behavior in Mao’s communist China. If I am elected Congressman in 2010, I will not stand for this behavior towards the citizens of my district. I find your action demeaning, disrespectful, and unbecoming the government of a free and open society.
Has the federal government deigned to setup a debate page where citizens can discuss this topic in a civil manner? Please realize that there are many irate citizens that do NOT want the federal government involved in our health care.
I will also make the remark that this health care legislation is obviously the work of Obama and the insurance lobbyists. What ever happened to Congress writing and passing the acts and laws themselves? Pardon my interpretation of the Constitution of the United States, but isn’t it the job of the executive to merely execute the laws? Not stifle a healthy debate on the 1,000+ pages of legislation in H.R. 3200 written by the White House?

You point about Nixon's HMO act reminds of another great quote, "The government is not the solution to our problem; the government is the problem." – Ronald Reagan.
This health care reform can only possibly lead to MORE government control, expense and boondoggle. And real private-sector fixes aren't even being discussed. It's appalling.

the donut hole for drugs will be made smaller-will cost more money
more baby boomers will be part of medicare soon – cost more money

How long do you think it took before the Internet Snitch Brigade expanded its reporting from something fishy about health insurance reform to Anti-American Activities? Just five days! Yes, it only took five days to jump from snitching about dissent on health insurance reform to making up wild accusations about "incitement to hate by others and the possible murder of President Barack Obama." A quote attributed to Joseph Goebbels, a Propaganda Minister in Nazi Germany reads:
"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it."
Bill Warner may not be a good P.I. (as he claims to be) or not a good bar fighter and martial artist (as he claims to be), but he has certainly mastered the art of Nazi propaganda.
