MSNBC’s Biased Coverage of Ron Paul’s HR1207: “Following A Radical Into Battle”

MSNBC publishes a rather obviously biased piece on Ron Paul’s efforts to bring transparency to the Federal Reserve through his bill HR1207. Perhaps some may not detect the obvious bias. For those allow me to quote a few phrases from the article.

His vendetta is fueled by the belief that the Federal Reserve is unconstitutional

His “belief”? All it takes is a read of the Constitution to know that it is unconstitutional.

It’s an amusing dissonance between the leader of the rebellion and his revolutionaries

The distrust of the Fed has reached a point at which a majority of House members are following a radical into battle.

Using words that paint Ron Paul as a radical for actually believing in following the Constitution is the essence of the problem with America today. Fortunately, the MSNBC writer does counter his own extremist paintbrush with a bit of criticism of Obama.

The Obama administration has offered typical platitudes about accountability but doesn’t have specifics about how it would work.

The article ends with perhaps more of a warning than praise:

Never underestimate Ron Paul.

Well there is a reason they don't allow comments to be posted following such rants. Because they will get eaten alive with the responses. Not to mention MSNBC is the Obama network there last ditch efforts to boost there ratings. So there fate kinda hinges on Obama's. And Paul's Bill undermine's them both.

Their belief is based on money, just about like the original congressmen that adopted that act instead of a constitutional amendment.

MSNBC isn't the only bias offender (from Reuters, 7/2/09):
"The distrust of the Fed has reached a point at which a majority of House members are following a radical into battle."

MSNBC is running neck and neck with CBS for the title of Most Self-Discredited News Organization. The cute "inside look" at the Obamas, broadcast in true propoganda fashion rather than as a documentary, was a sickening reminder of just how biased and interest-conflicted much of our media has become.

The brainwashed public is waking up, and they don't like what they see! Time for real change! Remember when Obama was campaigning and he said that there would be no new taxes if you make less than $250,000? What the heck is this "cap-and-trade" crap, it is none less than a thinly veiled attempt at taxing EVERYONE. We don't like being lied to, and I am sure that the next election will reflect this.

Constitutional violations are the cause of losing God's blessing that once guided this nation.
And when our national government. whatever few there were there in congress, intoxicated on money fed to them by the bankers, in 1913 Thought by the adoption of the Federal reserve Act
could circumvent the people's amendment process and become our leaders, they made a big mistake. We the People here are the King. We need to fire the bankers, masquerading as community leaders, but in reality are the real "Terrorists".
