In the interest of trust & integrity, if Audit the FED bill is passed, what authorized governmental department will do the actual auditing of the FED? Can we realistically expect to overcome the cladestine opposition that has been in place since 1913?

I think your asking people to contact their congresmen in support of Ron Paul's Honest Money bills is great. It will help build interest, but this year I would have to agree with Ron Paul not introducing the bills. My guess is the strategy is to get the Audit the Fed bill passed first. Once the auditing is done and if the American people don't like what they see (which should be painfully obvious) then there will be larger demand for what the Honest Money bill(s) propose, enough to get Congressmen to vote. They are making headway currently getting over 222 co-sponsors for the Audit the Fed bill. I believe introducing multiple Fed bills at this time would compete with each other and be confusing to Congress. Secondly, it means next to nothing to introduce a bill this year, although it's nice. It means everything to have enough co-sponsors to get it passed, like what is being done with the Audit bill. That's what we need to focus on next year.
