The concept of a money bomb, pooling a bunch of campaign donations in a single day, was made famous during Ron Paul’s Presidential campaign of 2007 and 2008. Many others have utilized the practice to draw in campaign funds and press mentions since then. Now, it is Ron Paul’s son, Rand Paul, who is ready for his own.
This one is to raise money for his exploratory committee for the U.S. Senate representing Kentucky. The day is next Monday, June 1st, 2009. The goal is $25k in a single day. More details are here.
We need more Ron Pauls in DC. Without cloning Ron Paul it is unlikely you’ll find someone more similar than his son, Dr. Rand Paul.

I'm on board. Now, for all those who are, it is time to go to work. Email everyone you know who donated to Ron Paul. Are there any Rand Paul meetup groups yet? If so, let them all know about this date, don't forget the Ron Paul meetup groups. They should all be informed.
I worked like crazy on the Ron Paul campaign and donated over and over and this is the first I have heard of this money bomb for Rand. Something is wrong. I should have several emails telling me about this already.
The Ron Paul money bombs only worked because we all WORKED our tails off to spread the word. Get busy! People will donate if they know about this. Spread the word.
