Penn Jillette appeared with Glenn Beck on Beck’s TV show earlier today to discuss the accusations of domestic terrorism / militia movement warned about in the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) report released recently. The report profiles those “types” of people likely to be involved in anti-government militia groups. It specifically states that supporters of Ron Paul, Bob Barr, and Chuck Baldwin are suspect.
Once again Glenn Beck shows support for the Founders’ version of America. He even dons a Gadsden “Don’t Tread On Me” flag T-shirt during the clip.
I’m starting to wonder if I’m on a super secret anti-government list for the things I’ve stated here on Liberty Maven over the past couple of years. I had a Ron Paul bumper sticker on my car. I had a Bob Barr bumper sticker on my car. I attended rallies and meetups. I’m an enemy of the state I guess. Oh well. Of course, I’m also a happily married tax-paying, upstanding citizen with two young children with a good job (for now).
If I’m on the list then I’m honored to be there. If I’m not, it must be due to government ineptitude. Lovers of liberty should look at such a list as a petition to sign rather than something to be avoided. Where do I sign?

Yes, but is it illegal? One of the questions on the list is "are you a member of a militia" like that's a bad thing. Since when is a "anti-government militia group" illegal or a domestic terrorist organization? I'm currently anti- this government, I own a gun… should I be leery of being rounded up?

It is SO simple to get ALL Americans very inexpensive FULL health coverage with no pre-existing condition exclusions. Get rid of the for profit insurance companies that pay their criminal CEO's hundreds of MILLIONS of dollars in obscene salaries and bonuses. They get this money through post claims underwriting and denial of justifiable services killing over 50,000 adults and 25,000 children EVERY YEAR in their need for greed. I almost lost my leg and died when Dr. Ed Lowenstein, medical director for Universal Health Care Inc of St Petersburg Florida denied payment of my claim AFTER APPROVING it 8 times in writing! I was in Thailand at the time and was approved for emergency service outside the country for $30K every year. This is why a single payer plan would work, it would eliminate BILLIONS of dollars in CEO salaries and bonuses which would then go to paying for the medical care we are now being denied.
