Ron Paul continues his assault on the so called “rescue” or “bailout” plan by our current lawmakers and President. He also is asked if there is anything good within McCain or Obama’s positions. He says that McCain is a bit better on health care than Obama, but Obama is a bit better on foreign policy. A few choice quotes are below.
“If inflation could solve everyone’s problems no one would ever have to work.”
“We shouldn’t try to stimulate housing.”
“It’s arrogant for politicians and the bureaucrats to believe they can plan the economy and sort this all out.”
“There is a fight going on in this country.”
“More people are going to say maybe freedom really works.”
On the rescue plan: “They tweaked it up.”
“In time we are all going to suffer for this.”
“Economically, the [bailout] is a disaster.”
