Ron Paul Endorses Chuck Baldwin?

There is an article on the Campaign For Liberty blog written by Ron Paul that ends with the following statement:
I’ve thought about the unsolicited advice from the Libertarian Party candidate, and he has convinced me to reject my neutral stance in the November election. I’m supporting Chuck Baldwin, the Constitution Party candidate.
So does “supporting” mean he has officially endorsed Baldwin? There is at least one report that this “endorsement” is false, but one wonders why or how it could be false since it is right there on Ron Paul’s own organization’s web site.
Read the full statement from Ron Paul through Jesse Benton on the C4L blog.

I agree with everything Dr. Paul has written here, down to the last paragraph. He gives the same reasons for the coalition of left and right wing parties I have enunciated in explaining why the Libertarian and Constitution Parties need to build a coalition party and merge their organizations. They have not chosen to do that this year, when the opportunity and need is the greatest of any election in my lifetime. Now, while Dr. Paul has said he \supports\ Chuck Baldwin, that is not an option in my state, where the Libertarian Party is the only third choice on the ballot, and Chuck Baldwin’s ticket didn’t even qualify for write-in votes. So I will vote for Bob Barr, who is the only one of the third party aspirants with the resume to be a credible candidate for the office of President. I think it is inexcusable that he has not mended fences with Ron Paul and his organization after the cock-up in Washington two weeks ago, but there’s nothing I can do to help that. I really hope that on election night the votes of all four candidates that signed Dr. Paul’s four point platform will be combined in the network tallies and will join together with Dr. Paul to make their statements from a common platform and to answer questions from the media. It may be the only way they will get any attention.
