Why Ron Paul Won’t Endorse Bob Barr

George Dance over at NolanChart.com wrote an article explaining why Ron Paul will not endorse Bob Barr for President (or Chuck Baldwin either, for that matter). The main reason is explained by Ron Paul himself, as quotes on Jason Rosenbaum’s Politics Blog:
“Well, ‘considering’ means the thought crosses your mind, and he has made inquiries as to what I might be able to do, and my answer is that I don’t plan to get involved, because Chuck Baldwin is a candidate for the Constitution Party, and he’s a good friend, and he also worked very hard on my campaign, so it’s pretty hard for me to endorse one or the other.”

He really could endorse both. Just giving them the Ron Paul seal of approval would get people fired up and then they could decide which guy they liked better.

He should endorse them both, I agree. Paul’s said a third party win is what’s best for the nation. If that’s true, why hasn’t he endorsed anyone? His endorsement would have tremendous impact.
