I cannot understand the sheer ignorance of statements made by Justice John Paul Stevens, such as "Specifically, there is no indication that the Framers of the Amendment intended to enshrine the common-law right of self-defense in the Constitution." No evidence? Can the man read? How can one get to such a position in life while remaining so historically ignorant? Scary.
