I read Thomas DiLorenzo’s first book on Lincoln, “The Real Lincoln“, and was shocked at the information contained within it. Like most in America we are taught the “honest Abe” version in school. DiLorenzo’s books on Lincoln tear that myth apart. He includes citations from other authors, journalists, and newspapers at the time to back up his assertions. He sat down for an interview on CSPAN last week and watching it is an excellent way to spend some of your time.
