Bob Barr To Declare Libertarian Candidacy for President?

There are reports being picked up by major news sources like the LA Times and FOX News that Bob Barr is going to declare he is running for the Libertarian Presidential nomination. The original source of the news comes from FITSNews.com. They report that “sources” say this is true and that Barr will announce it next week. Also of note is that they report Ron Paul will be endorsing Barr. I would think Paul would wait until after the GOP convention to do that, but we’ll see. Below are the links to the reports.

On a personal level I like this move. If this becomes truth it looks like I’ve found the person I’ll be voting for come November.

Personal Note: I just noticed this is the 1000th article post at Liberty Maven.  I guess I should have saved it for a more momentous article, but I guess 1000 is still just a number, albeit a pretty high one for a site that is about one year old.
