Hope for double digits for Ron Paul dashed

Earlier today I said that I had hoped for double digit results for Ron Paul in at least two of today’s primaries. He didn’t come close. It seems he will get 5% in both Texas and Ohio and 7% in both Vermont and Rhode Island.

There is a glimmer of hope though. An interesting rumor posted on LewRockwell.com indicates that Ron Paul and Bob Barr are talking about some kind of third party/independent run. It will be interesting to see if more information on that possibility comes to light in the coming days and weeks. I, for one, would love such a thing.
