My thoughts on the eve of the Iowa Straw Poll

August 10th, 2007 8:56 pm  |  by  |  Published in Activism, Politics, Polling, Ron Paul  |  0

My expectations are low, but my hopes are high. I think it would be HUGE to come in 2nd place.  I’ve already given up any notion of first with many saying Romney will be a landslide winner.  So beating out the rest of the candidates for 2nd would be a great sign for me and I’d be ecstatic.

3rd or 4th would be decent, but truthfully my expectations are 5th or lower.

The results start getting announced tomorrow night at 7pm.  The whole event will be carried live on CSPAN. Should be interesting.

This is a very funny blog post and worth a read or two. The best take yet on the whole big moment in one of the previous GOP debates when Rudy Giuliani interrupted Ron Paul and requested he retract what he said.

I am proud to be a contributor to this work. This effort defines grassroots support and I hope, is only a sign, of more good things to come.

Very good and positive article that references Ron Paul’s efforts to date.  Also suggests that he is in a “tier” of his own. I like that, “The Ron Paul Tier” :-)
